Welcome back to WellFit Lab. The Lab is officially open again.
In this 2026 kickoff episode, host Cheya Thousand shares a 5AM-style check-in and what this show is now: a faith-rooted, practical space for ambitious women who want to live well, lead well, and stay grounded without burnout. She is talking whole-person wellness (the 8 dimensions), and fitness as stewardship through movement that fits this season of life—walking, Pilates, and strength training, plus routines that support your body, mind, and spirit.
You’ll also meet our new signature close: The WellFit Reset—one mindset shift, one small action, and one reflection question you can use right away.

Today I am in the lab with Leslie Kenny, Founder of Oxford Healthspan. Leslie Kenny, a Southern Californian entrepreneur and graduate of both Berkeley and Harvard, whose life was turned upside down when she was diagnosed with lupus and rheumatoid arthritis in her 30s. When her doctors told her lupus had a life expectancy of five years and that RA could only be managed, not cured, she set out to optimize her health as best she could with safe, natural solutions. Today, at age 56, Leslie is living proof that we can get better with age, so long as we take responsibility for our health and meet our doctors halfway.
